Hello,
I am the pastor of the Taylorville First Church of the Nazarene. This is my first year in serving as a senior pastor and being a part of this church. My wife Mindy and I came here after living in the Kansas City area, where we met. We were married in July 2006. Mindy grew up in Burlington, IA in a parsonage. She went
to Mid America Nazarene University and is a registered nurse.
I grew up in Marshall, IL. I went to the Church of the Nazarene there. I was called into ministry when I was a teenager and after high school went to Olivet Nazarene University. I graduated from there in 2003 with a BA in Religion. I then went on to Nazarene Theological Seminary. I just graduated this past May with a
Master of Divinity degree.
As you can tell from the picture above we have two dogs. Our black lab/pointer mix is named Maggie and our Yorkshire Terrier is named Sophie. They keep me pretty busy in my spare time, but I also enjoy watching most sports and especially NASCAR Racing. I also like to hunt, fish, be outdoors and read.
